An evening with two distinct photographers.
This lecture is the Keynote presentation opening the weekend long 9th annual Our World Portfolio Review
The Webbs have separate photography practices but quite uniquely, they have also worked as a creative team having exhibited extensively together worldwide, done workshops, and the two most recent collaborative books are Memory City and Street Photography and the Poetic Image. They live and work in Brooklyn, New York.
Alex Webb is a Magnum photographer and has produced six monographs with bodies of work from The Tropics (Mexico, the Caribbean Islands, Africa, and Asia,), Haiti, Florida, the Amazon region, the U.S.-Mexico Border, and Istanbul, and one retrospective monograph, The Suffering of Light.
Rebecca Norris Webb was originally a poet and has published five photography books.
