OUR WORLD 2008: A National Juried Portfolio Review
OUR WORLD
Addressing the Creative Ways we Explore, Portray, Express and Connect Communities Through Images.

Photo Alliance is pleased to announce an OPEN CALL for a portfolio review that will be held over the weekend of March 7-9, 2008. This event is being co-sponsored by Orion magazine. http://www.orionmagazine.org/

This two-day event will bring together top photography editors, publishers, curators, gallerists, and educators representing small, mid-sized, and major venues from around the U.S. to meet with engaged photographers to review their portfolios and encourage their careers.

The weekend’s activities will also include a FRIDAY EVENING LECTURE by Lonnie Graham, March 7th, open to the General Public.

To guarantee a high quality experience, the event will be pre-juried, with a limit of 50. The DEADLINE to submit your portfolio for consideration is February 15th, 2008.

Then, during the weekend of March 8-9, 2008, the selected 50 photographers will each have ten twenty minute sessions with reviewers over the course of two days, and ample opportunity for further networking.
