Saturday and Sunday July 14-15, 2012

This 2-day workshop will examine how photographers incorporate
family as a subject and theme in their creative work. The weekend
will open Friday evening with a public slide lecture and book signing
by Gay Block, who will speak about her career as a photographer.

The following two days Gay, along with a host of others in a
workshop setting, will explore the role of the family photograph.
Seeking to validate, elevate, and discuss family as subject.
Saturday will be devoted to presentations ranging from personal
stories to more logistical concerns such as portfolio development. Sunday brings an opportunity to
have your individual photographic work reviewed in
one-on-one and small group conversations.
