Mistick Krewes in Quarantine
Since the beginning of quarantine, I’ve been revisiting my ongoing series “Mistick Krewes”, which is inspired by New Orleans and the Gulf Coast. The works I’ve created this year reflect various aspects of the times: social injustices, governmental failures, ecological tragedies, natural disasters and thankfully, more optimistically, a yearning for healing.
