2024 INSIGHT/INCITE 20/20 EXHIBITION
AT BOLINAS MUSEUM

PhotoAlliance is excited to have our INSIGHT/INCITE 20/20 portfolio works on view in the beautiful gallery at Bolinas Museum this coming February! Curated by PhotoAlliance Creative Director Linda Connor, This exhibition will speak to humanity’s challenges, hope, and resilience as we grapple with daunting political, cultural, environmental, and humanitarian issues.

2020 BAY AREA CURRENT(LY)

PhotoAlliance is proud to display this online exhibition of selected work from submissions for the 2020 Bay Area Current(ly) photographic competition. Bay Area Curent(ly) highlights trends in contemporary San Francisco Bay Area photography by recognizing a coherent body of work from each of thirty-seven area artists.

2018 BAY AREA CURRENTS

Bay Area Currents was established to provide an opportunity for local artists working with photography to exhibit in the Bay Area and to discover and connect with other artists in the community. There was no single theme for this call, instead we were looking to see what you have been up to of late. What we received showed a broad range of interpretations of photography including documentary, expressive, and experimental works manifested through a wide variety of styles and approaches.

2018 HOME

Home may be where we start or end our day – an actual place or a state of mind. Home might be a feeling carried around as something desired or battled for. Home can include inhabitants, community or any form of like mindedness. Whatsoever your connection, a broad range of interpretations through photography is invited for this entry, including documentary, expressive or experimental. Submissions may be depicted in any style and utilize any process or camera type.

2014 FAUNA

Wild or domesticated, we share the world with animals. For some, as a source of inspiration, delight or companionship and for others as something else entirely.

Whatever the connection, a broad range of interpretations in photography is invited for entry, including documentary, expressive or experimental.  Submissions may be depicted in any style and represent any species, whether real or of the imagination.

SAN FRANCISCO NEIGHBORHOODS WITHOUT US

PhotoAlliance in partnership with The San Francisco Arts Commission Galleries’ Art at City Hall program, presents Now That You’re Gone … San Francisco Neighborhoods Without Us. This multi-faceted exhibition project features photography by Northern California emerging and established artists that captures various aspects of the built environment of distinct San Francisco neighborhoods without people.
