About Sean Mcfarland:

McFarland is well known for his landscape Polaroid photographs, but he works across the spectrum of light-sensitive materials: cyanotypes, gelatin silver prints, and archival pigment prints. In recent years he's been drawing, too. All of his photographs deal with artifice in some way.  By employing collage, double exposure, and light effects, he creates images that blur fantasy and reality, often without ever quite letting on which parts are the "deception" and which are "authentic." What you see is never what was there in front of the camera.   {source}

About Lindsey White:

Lindsey White is an Oklahoma native who lives and works in San Francisco, CA. Through video, photography, and sculpture, White models a type of site gag index, working with the language of magic and comedy to challenge ordinary perceptions by presenting the unexpected and impossible. Like a good joke, her work pits cartoonish occurrence against the mundane physicality of everyday life. She was 2010 Artist-in-Residence at the Headlands Center for the Arts, a recipient of the 2008-2009 Fellowship at the Kala Institute of Art in Berkeley, CA, and received a 2017 SFMOMA SECA Award. White has also been a part of a collaborative project, Will Brown. Will Brown is Lindsey White, Jordan Stein, and David Kasprzak.  Will Brown was a 2013 Artist in Residence at the Headlands Center for the Arts.

Education:
