Each participant will walk away from the workshop with one framed piece and 4 window mats- all produced by themselves during the day.

In this workshop Stefan will share a variety of methods for presenting your artwork to best effect and discuss framing, glazings, archival and standard matting, choices that determine quality and tips for cutting costs.  The day will be balanced between demonstrations and hands-on selection of materials with the end goal of making sure that your works are protected, respected and housed appropriately for the purpose they are being used for such as portfolios, installations, art shows and temporary exhibitions as each may require different solutions.  You have worked hard to create a body of work, make sure to consider the best method to present your art.

While the bulk of what is presented rests upon the craft of art handling, what informs this workshop is the unique perspective that Stefan brings; as an artist himself, a gallery owner and curator, publisher and overall advocate for excellence for the field.   His unique perspective and long experience combined with his sincere desire that each work of art ( meaning you too) be presented in its best form, makes this day long workshop a ‘must do’ for any serious artist.
